Me & My Role In Commercial Photography
Hello! My name's Lizzie and I specialise in 80’s trivia knowledge, types of cheese, and creating captivating images that help your business stand out in today’s competitive market. Whether you’re a local startup, an established brand, or a creative agency looking for exceptional visuals, my mission is to provide you with the photography that will elevate your business and connect you with audiences on a deeper level.
In today’s competitive business landscape, compelling visuals are not just an option - they’re a necessity. Whether you’re looking to boost your online presence, create an impactful advertising campaign, or update your website, I can help you make a lasting impression with your audience.
Based in Rutland, I’m proud to work with businesses of all sizes, locally and further afield, producing commercial photography that helps them grow, shine, and succeed. As a photographer, I understand the importance of visuals that resonate with your audience, and am committed to bringing out the best in your products, people, and brand identity. Devoted to learning and understanding the ethos of your brand and your unique marketing goals, I create images that speak directly to your target audience and give your business the visual edge it deserves.
My approach.. In today’s digital world, imagery is one of the most powerful tools you have to communicate your brand’s values and message. However, it’s not just about taking pictures - it’s about creating imagery that aligns with your brand’s voice, whether that’s professional, playful, sophisticated, or creative. Before and during shoots, I like to work closely alongside clients to help bring their vision and goals to life. Whether you need crisp, clean product photography for your website, powerful imagery for social media campaigns, or engaging lifestyle shots for advertising, my job is to ensure your visuals are not just beautiful but personally tailored to you, I won’t just turn up on the day and ask where to point my camera.
After a successful 15 year career in photography, what I specialise in is varied and I will tell you why!
My background is in weddings, and having photographed almost 400 of them now, I figure I can consider myself established. A lot of people scoff at wedding photographers, except other photographers, who always tell me they could never handle the stress of a wedding and much prefer other styles! Being in a fast pace environment with tricky lighting and sometimes awkward characters means that you have to learn to think on your feet. The skills I have developed by working that way for so long are invaluable and entirely transferable to the world of commercial work. Specific tastes, been there. Low lighting, every winter wedding that ever existed. Demanding clients, I’ve had plenty of those. The list is endless, and so are the things I now photograph…
Food & Product Photography: Showcase your products in the best light, literally. Whether it’s food, fashion, tech, or bespoke items, I provide high-quality product images that highlight your goods and make them irresistible. And these are the things that don’t talk back!
Branding & Lifestyle Photography: Create an emotional connection with your audience by telling your brand story through compelling lifestyle shots. These images capture the essence of your brand (you) and resonate with your target market.
Corporate Headshots & Team Photography: Make your first impression count. Professional headshots and team photos are essential for establishing trust and credibility with potential clients, investors, or customers.
Commercial Interiors & Architecture: The physical space of your business tells a story too. Whether you run a restaurant, a retail store, or a co-working space, I can create stunning images that showcase your environment and help attract customers. This extends to rental properties and character buildings.
Event Photography: If your business hosts events, conferences, or product launches, I’ll ensure every moment is professionally captured for future marketing and promotional use, or just the memories
I will also lie on the floor if that is the angle I need. This is not the only photo I have of me doing so…
