Unveiling Elegance
A bridal lingerie photoshoot is more than just a photoshoot—it’s an intimate celebration of confidence, beauty, and a bride’s unique style, which are all things I wanted to bring to the commercial side of things. Etta Lingerie provides all of that in abundance and I wanted to be sure I portrayed that in these photos and did these stunning pieces justice.
From classic lace to modern, minimalist designs, this lingerie embraces the luxury of bridal fashion.
We chose pieces to prioritize comfort and fit for the model we worked with so the lingerie was seen in the best light. Our location was a dreamy local hotel, The Falcon. Hotel rooms with plush furnishings and soft lighting are ideal and this one also had minimalist backdrops to keep the focus on the lingerie while still elevating the visuals.
Having worked in boudoir before I knew how to guide poses, find the best lighting, and make the model comfortable as well as keeping it appropriate for company marketing.

Organic Ritual Beauty
When thinking about creating product images for ORB, I was focused on reflecting Lottie’s clean essence and wanting the imagery to align with the brands eco-friendly holistic beauty.
Home to luxurious, organic beauty treatments and products - all personally developed and hand crafted by owner Lottie - ORB gives its name to two salons, based in Uppingham, Rutland.
Self proclaimed ‘natural beauty nerd’, Lottie (senior therapist, owner and product formulator) launched ORB under a strict all natural, organic ethos. Recognising how lifestyle and environmental stressors take a toll on our skin, hair and overall well-being, it was after spending time training in the beautiful scenery of New Zealand that Lottie realised her dream to combine nature with beauty. Spread across two salons, Lottie now offers a range of organic, eco-friendly beauty treatments and products that are as kind to your skin as they are to the planet.
When thinking about creating product images for ORB, I was focused on reflecting Lottie’s clean essence, wanting the imagery to align with the core eco-friendly, natural values and holistic beauty. My goal was to evoke feelings of purity, sustainability, wellness and luxury whilst showcasing the natural beauty of both the products and the environment.
On our brand shoot, I opted for natural lighting to help capture the authentic, warm glow of Lottie’s products. Soft, diffused natural sunlight in the salon created a serene atmosphere and reflected the gentle, nourishing nature of ORB’s treatments.
It was important to keep the backdrop minimalistic and use only neutral tones. The rustic wooden table helped create an organic, timeless look whilst the warm, earthy colours added a sense of natural luxury. I also wanted to emphasise the organic and sustainable nature of Lottie’s products by incorporating elements of nature into the shots. The layout of ORB is charming with bowls of dried flowers and herbs everywhere. I wanted to strategically mirror this in the background and keep the natural vibe alive by surrounding the products with leaves, stones and flowers to create a more authentic, nature-inspired feel.
ORB is associated with simplicity and purity so minimalist styling for this shoot was key. I wanted to keep the product-focused imagery simple and clear, with little clutter, to highlight the quality and authenticity of Lottie’s products. Both salons are fresh and tranquil spaces so the pictures needed to reflect that. There was a deliberate avoidance in using any excessive props or complex backgrounds, letting the products speak for themselves. For showcasing stock and materials, I always believe a symmetrical layout works best. Particularly, in neat arrangements on a plain surface to help draw attention to the package and branding.
Overall, I wanted the feel of this product shoot to communicate calm, relaxation and luxury whilst reflecting ORB’s core values of purity, sustainability and wellness. By focusing on natural light, minimalist styling, earthy textures and the gentle power of natural ingredients I believe Lottie and I created imagery that resonates with the beauty of nature and the luxurious simplicity of organic beauty.
Reworked Vintage Fashion Launch
Strong imagery for websites and socials creates a growing community of fashion lovers who aren’t just buying clothes—they are investing in stories, sustainability, and artistry.
When Creativity Collides - In a world where fast fashion dominates, two innovative women decided to take a different path. Fueled by their shared love for sustainability, storytelling, and impeccable craftsmanship, they joined forces to launch a reworked vintage fashion label that marries timeless designs with a contemporary edge. But their success didn’t rely solely on their eye for design—it was the art of storytelling through photography that set their brand apart.
With a passion for upcycling, these two had been rescuing vintage pieces for years, transforming forgotten garments into one-of-a-kind treasures with whispered hints of past lives lived in every stitch and seam. What started as a conversation about the beauty of vintage fabrics quickly evolved into an idea: what if they combined their talents to not only preserve these pieces but give them a new narrative?
The magic of reworked vintage lies in the details—whether it’s a patch of hand-stitched embroidery, a carefully placed fabric insert, a reimagined silhouette or a complete overhaul, old garments get a brand new lease of life. And it’s important to show that none of the quality is lost.
Every piece deserved to be showcased as more than just clothing. It was art. It had history. And the best way to share that with the world was through creative photography.
Instead of standard studio shots, we created immersive, artistic shots that reflected the personality of each piece.
• Macro Shots for Detail: Close-ups captured the fine textures of vintage lace, the vibrant hues of retro prints, and the precise stitching that went into every alteration.
• Styled Storytelling: Each photoshoot was a mini narrative, blending props, natural light, and surroundings to evoke the spirit of the garment’s past while positioning it firmly in the present.
• Natural Movement: Models were encouraged to move naturally, highlighting the fluidity of the fabric and allowing customers to imagine themselves wearing the pieces in everyday life.
• Vibrant Editing: The colour and fabric aesthetic popped like never before.
Photography doesn’t just showcase the clothing; it invites people into the brand’s world. Strong imagery for websites and socials creates a growing community of fashion lovers who aren’t just buying clothes—they are investing in stories, sustainability, and artistry.
Their journey is a reminder that when creative minds join forces, the result can be extraordinary. And in a world that’s increasingly drawn to quick gratification and consumerism, their focus on the art of slow storytelling—both through fashion and imagery—is a blueprint for success.
Are you ready to explore the world of reworked vintage? Take a closer look, and you might just fall in love with the details.

After a successful 15 year career in photography, what I specialise in is varied and I will tell you why!
My background is in weddings, and having photographed almost 400 of them now, I figure I can consider myself established. A lot of people scoff at wedding photographers, except other photographers, who always tell me they could never handle the stress of a wedding and much prefer other styles! Being in a fast pace environment with tricky lighting and sometimes awkward characters means that you have to learn to think on your feet. The skills I have developed by working that way for so long are invaluable and entirely transferable to the world of commercial work. Specific tastes, been there. Low lighting, every winter wedding that ever existed. Demanding clients, I’ve had plenty of those. The list is endless, and so are the things I now photograph…
Food & Product Photography: Showcase your products in the best light, literally. Whether it’s food, fashion, tech, or bespoke items, I provide high-quality product images that highlight your goods and make them irresistible. And these are the things that don’t talk back!
Branding & Lifestyle Photography: Create an emotional connection with your audience by telling your brand story through compelling lifestyle shots. These images capture the essence of your brand (you) and resonate with your target market.
Corporate Headshots & Team Photography: Make your first impression count. Professional headshots and team photos are essential for establishing trust and credibility with potential clients, investors, or customers.
Commercial Interiors & Architecture: The physical space of your business tells a story too. Whether you run a restaurant, a retail store, or a co-working space, I can create stunning images that showcase your environment and help attract customers. This extends to rental properties and character buildings.
Event Photography: If your business hosts events, conferences, or product launches, I’ll ensure every moment is professionally captured for future marketing and promotional use, or just the memories
I will also lie on the floor if that is the angle I need. This is not the only photo I have of me doing so…
